Practical- Newspaper

We wanted to add a newspaper article to our photo board, Therefore, we found a newspaper article online about a murder so that it would fit in with what we were filming for our trailer. After we created our own newspaper name 'News Today' and changed some of the information on the article to fit the name. We also created two columns to make it as similar to a newspaper article as we could.

I then cut up a brown bag that we got from the bakery to print the newspaper out on. Before I printed the article I also added a logo to make it look more like the front page of a newspaper.

To make it look as if he had read the newspaper I also added a tea stain to the bottom left corner. I did this by running water onto a tea bag then rubbing it onto the bottom of a mug. After I stamped this onto the newspaper which left a tea stain.

I also ripped the edge of the paper to add the effect that the killer had ripped it out of the newspaper.

The final stain turned out well.

Overall, it looked good but in the future I would add photos to the article to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.
