people that this information is important, it also makes it easier to remember

This is the producer of the film, by having his name as

0:42 – 0:44
While the narrator is saying this short and violent clips from the film are shown, this supports the idea of Rob Zombies “extreme
vision”. It shows images of a man with a gun, followed by someone smashing
glass to a close up of a knife to the
silhouette of someone flipping over a car in the dark.

Hatchet 2 2010 (Trailer)
0:00 - 0:04
Hatchet has two production companies and both are shown at the beginning within 4 seconds. It is shown to be a common convention for the production company/s to show at the beginning of the trailers. When creating our own we will take this is to consideration and place our own at the beginning.
0:04 - 0:16
This trailer heavily uses text with no narration. These two shots refer to the first and original film, this is done in order to promote the first film as it wold be similar to the newly released one. This widens the audience and increases income as some people may watch the other. The words 2007 and slasher are larger, bold and written in capitals to make them stand out, 2007 helps people find the previous while the word slasher informs the audience of the genre.
0:16 - 0:33
Towards the beginning there were critics reviews of the film, this informs the audience of how great it is and basically telling them to watch it. Some of the comments also bring a comedy element, for example the one above.
0:33– 0:35
In the middle of the trailer the release month is shown to help create hype for the new release, the word October is written larger then the other text to show its importance, not only this it also helps the audience to remember the date in which it will be released.
0:40 - 0:47
This is slightly comical and is a play on words to the common phrase 'hold on to your seat'. This emphasizes the idea of the slasher genre, after these two images are shown short clips are shown of the violence of the film.
0:51 - 0:55
The title of the film is shown so the name is 'fresh' in the audiences memory for them to be interested in it. The colour of the text has changed to gold with some areas of red, this portrays the idea of blood and death.
0:55 - 0:58
They show the date of the release again at the end of the trailer again to ensure that the audience knows the date in which it was released. However this time it gives the audience the actual date as being the 1st.
1:06 - 1:07
The extra details are shown at the very end, however the audience would not be able to read all the information given with the time in which it was shown. Though it does give the website which stands out compared to the other information. This has been done so that audience has the ability to do their own research on the film.
