film falls in to the thriller and drama genre. This is noticeably shown through
the background image showing, what is most likely a mother and son, covered in
blood and dirt. The thriller aspect is also shown through the serif font and
the black and white colour
scheme.
Background: When
you first open the website the trailer automatically plays on another window
that opens on top of the main site. Once closed there is a large image that
changes to different scenes of the film from happy to sad moments. At the
bottom there is what is considered a banner with the information including the
title.

main colour
scheme is black and gold, these colours are commonly used within the drama
genre. However the title and the names of the actors are white separating it
from the rest of the text and appear more predominant.

Background: When
you first open the site it automatically makes the web browser in to full

with a black screen. Once finished with loading it opens on to the main website
with the trailer automatically playing with a very plane background, some of
the details include the distorted image of the killer on the top left.
Colour
scheme:
The colour
scheme follows the normal conventions for the horror genre with the use of dark
colours,
mainly black, and smaller details in white to stand our such as the boarder
around the video and the distorted image in the back. The dark presents the
darkness presented in the film while the white shows the purity of some
colours, usually the victims. The colour of the title was originally white but
has been distorted. They have made the title to appear old by making the white
look ‘dirty’ while laying the colour of red to convey the blood and further
supporting the idea of death.
Content:
There is very little in context in comparison to The Impossible, the main
website only shows the trailer and offers buttons on to different pages that
can provide more information. Other than the little information the title of
the film is given along the left side.
Buttons: This
website has more focus on the use of buttons as there is very little
information given on the main page. Along the left side there are buttons to
take you to different pages. The buttons include about, media, gallery,
downloads and more. These buttons are white and are easily located at the top
of the page.

The
page is very easy to use, there are easy directions. As the website opens the
trailer automatically plays which makes it easier for the user to find and
learn more about the film. Not only this there is also sound that plays over
the top of the website to help create a dark and mysterious atmosphere, it also
gives you the ability to switch of the sound. Some issues that occurred is that
you have to have the correct software downloaded to open the page due to the
effects that are
in
place.
